    Inside Look

What we love: The Royal Villa with butler service and access to a private plunge pool

Catch up on rest from your flight in one of the lavish penthouses with a view of the Persian Gulf from the balcony. In the family garden suite, you can head downstairs to the pool, or wander a little further to the hotel’s two-kilometre stretch of secluded sands. There are also suites available with additional bedrooms and terraces, or the Ocean Suite sleeps up to seven.

When you opt for the Royal Villa, you’ll be waited on hand and foot by a private butler, who will serve you afternoon tea at your request. The Royal Villa also stands out for us because it includes a private plunge pool, with easy access to Jumeriah’s two-kilometre private pristine beach.

    Taste the Luxury

What we love: Watermelon Sangrias on the rooftop

Across the 12 hotels in the Jumeriah Group in Dubai, there are over 143 restaurants, exclusive beach clubs and bars to choose from. Known as the Global Collection, the extensive international dishes and dining options will surpass expectations of anyone who is passionate about good food.

Cocktails anyone? We can’t get enough of a Watermelon Sangria whilst overlooking the glittering Dubai skyline at a rooftop bar, a Despresso Martini at a vintage jazz bar, or a Rum for the Road at a contemporary gastropub. What tickles our tastebuds? Arabesque dining in Al Iwan and alfresco Lebanese dining at Al Nafoorah!

    Immerse Yourself

What we love: Desert adventures arranged for you by the concierge

Whilst the little ones have fun at Kids’ Club, set time aside for a head-to-toe sensory journey at Talise Signature Spa. Treatments include hot stone massages, foot reflexology, and more across ten heavenly spa rooms. The Talise Spa is the first spa in Dubai to use 111SKIN medi-spa products, plus Maroc, LING New York and therapeutic products from holistic specialists, Aromatherapy Associates.

Whether you are travelling solo or with others, the concierge can lend a hand with arranging social desert adventures like dune bashing, camel riding, or sandboarding. For a more casual day out, visit the Arabian-style market, Souk Madinat.

Wild Wadi Waterpark with 4-person tubing slides, or Kite Beach with jet skiing are both terrific family days out.

“Jet skiing was so much fun, I felt like a kid again!”
