The VIP meet & greet is one of those things you don’t realise you need until you’ve done it.
You land, you’re met straight away, and suddenly the whole airport process is just…easy. No queues, no stress, no standing around after a long flight.
The hotel
We stayed at O2 Beach Club & Spa, and for a family trip, it just makes sense.
Right on the beach, everything set up properly, and most importantly – the rooms are actually big enough to live in for a week.
The Oceanfront Suite is the one to book. Separate space, incredible views, and enough room that it still feels calm by the end of the trip.
And yes, it’s all-inclusive, but not in a way that feels basic. Good food, good options, and no constant decision making.

The moment we’d tell everyone to do
The afternoon onboard Silver Moon Barbados was easily one of the highlights.
You head out along the coast, stop to swim with turtles, drinks flowing, music on – it’s just a really good afternoon.
Nothing forced, nothing overdone. Just one of those experiences that ends up being your favourite part of the trip.
