The Journey
3 nights in Rome
Your holiday begins with a flight from the UK to Rome, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the next three nights discovering one of Europe’s most captivating cities.
From the Colosseum and Pantheon to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and St Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, Rome is packed with architectural and cultural highlights. Beyond the famous landmarks, the joy of Rome is also in the quieter moments – espresso in a tucked-away piazza, wandering through side streets and soaking up the city’s timeless atmosphere.
5 nights in Sorrento
On your final day in Rome, continue south by train to Naples, where you’ll either be transferred to your hotel in Sorrento or, if preferred, we can arrange a hire car for added flexibility.
You’ll spend the next five nights in this stylish seaside town, known for its Mediterranean charm, pretty piazzas, boutique shopping and relaxed al fresco dining. The old town is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with cobbled streets, elegant buildings and highlights including the bell tower, the monastery and the Church of San Francesco.
Sorrento is also a brilliant base for exploring the wider coastline, with easy access to Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Pompeii is also within reach, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient Roman life.
3 nights in Capri
From Sorrento, board a short ferry to Capri for the final part of your holiday. Long favoured by the rich and famous, Capri offers a more exclusive island feel, with beautiful beaches, vivid blue waters and striking rock formations.
Spend three nights enjoying the island’s glamour and natural beauty. Highlights include the Faraglioni rock formations, the Gardens of Augustus and the stylish atmosphere of Capri Town, where designer boutiques, elegant cafés and the lively Piazza Umberto create the perfect setting for a final taste of la dolce vita.
Return to the UK
On your final day, travel by boat to Naples and fly back to the UK.
